Ojai Holiday Shopping Stroll

Be ready, mark your calendar. Saturday, November 28, over 40 Ojai Village Merchants’ shops, boutiques and restaurants, will be decked out in their holiday finery with tasty treats for shoppers!  Local shops will be offering holiday specials.

Make sure to be in Downtown Ojai from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The holiday stroll had been cancelled in the past years due to the economic crises, but was officially reinstituted last year due to its popularity, and what a success this has been for our beautiful community. The holiday stroll, is a way to interact and network with the community. To get people involved with the stores and to entice them to do their holiday shopping in the Ojai Valley.

Strollers and shoppers will have a chance to get sweets, treats, discount, deals, some shops will offer between 10 to 20% discount for any purchase, others will also provide refreshment.

It is a party that nobody wants to miss, fun time for families and friends to come shopping in Ojai, and also, an opportunity to promote local business.

The Ojai Valley Artists arts, known as OVA arts, will offer a gift basket raffle.  There will be live music entertainment from 6 to 8 p.m., and there will be homemade cookies and wine and cheese.

Behind the arcade in downtown, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be greeting strollers and listening to children’s Christmas wishes. Do not miss this event, if kids get a little hyper, just across the street there is the “New” Libbey park that has been restored just last month, believe me, they will have fun.

I will see you in town.
